Effective Dispute

Around the year 1748, there was a dispute between two brothers. As the Sultan Azimuddin @ Alimuddin-I have to give permission to the Jesuits and the Spanish Christian missionaries to spread the doctrine of Christianity in Sulu, the matter has angered his brother Raja Muda Datu Bantilan. With the support of some of the people of Sulu, and those who are loyal to Raja Muda Datu Bantilan, they went to meet Sultan Azimuddin-I. In the dispute, the Raja Muda Datu Bantilan throwing the spear and was hit by his brother foot Sultan Azimuddin I (who threw the Raja Muda Datu Bantilan and is recognized by the Raja Muda Datu Bantilan @ Sultan Muezuddin then). In order to avoid the protracted dispute, finally Sultan Azimuddin-I with sons and daughters, and some people were leaving loyal to Zamboanga, and then to Manila.

In Manila, he and his entourage are given a good reception and treatment by Spanish officials and the Jesuit Christian. Maybe he did not realize that the advantages conferred by the Spanish to him as a ploy. With his position as the Sultan of Sulu, so they can spread the doctrine of Christianity on the people of Sulu.

The Truth Fact About The Family Heirs Maharaja Adinda Sultan Muhammad Aranan Puyo

The WORDS second heirs apparent or Maharaja Adinda Aranan was mentioned by Prof. Cesar Adib Majul in his book Muslims in the Philippines of page 393, Oxford University translate by Shamsuddin Jaafar on the book of "Islam di Filipina" on the page 486. The word "Maharaja Adinda" was also written by Pehin Dato 'Dr. Mohd. Jamil Al-Sufri (Director of the Brunei History Center) in his Tarsilah Brunei II, on the page 251, and the book "Ang Philipinas" Edisyon-ARMM, on page 37. In addition, the authors of the Philippine Rita Turban also wrote an article about the existence of Maharaja Adinda Aranan Family.

The existence ofthe two heirs of Sulu Sultanate is also represented in the flag of the Sultanate of Sulu. In which, denoted by the symbol of the First Witness Kris Line. And denoted by the symbol of the Second Heir Spear or Bujak.

Both heirs are the son of the Sultan Badaruddin-I ibni Sultan Salahuddin Karamat @ Pangeran Bakhtiar Ibni Sultan Mawalil-Wasit @ Raja Bongsu-I, who ruled about years 1718 until 1732. Sultan Badaruddin-I first Prince, (ie, from his first wife from Soopeng @ Soppeng, Sulawesi), has been named Datu Lagasan. Having ascended the throne of the Sultanate of Sulu, he uses the name of Sultan Azimuddin or Sultan Alimuddin-I. But after his Baptism by a priest, the Spanish priests in Manila about the year 1750, he was using the name of Don Fernando de Alimuddin (The Christian Sultan of Jolo). If the rule of law by the government of Islamic sultanates, The Rightful Throne of Sultan Azimuddin / Alimuddin @ Don Fernando de Alimuddin and his descendants have been repealed because of his Baptism into the Christian religion.

The second Prince ofSultan Badaruddin-I, from his second wife (the daughter of a Tirun tribal king or Tidung in Borneo), was named as Datu Bantilan. While his brother Sultan Azimuddin @ Alimuddin-I became Sultan, he was appointed viceroy and was called as Raja Muda Datu Bantilan.

Datu Bantilan throne

In the absence of Sultan Azimuddin @ Alimuddin-I in Sulu, some members of the Royal Council and the people of Sulu has agreed to appoint Raja Muda Datu Bantilan throne and the Sultan of Sulu and titled as Sultan Bantilan Muizzuddin. He ruled from 1748 until 1763.
In the reign of Sultan Bantilan Muizzuddin, Sulu Sultanate government system is a bit more organized with the composition of the cabinet they occupied. According to records, Sultan Bantilan was ever been to China to meet with the Emperor of China and he is the only sultan who presented the Sultan of Sulu land of memories from the Sulu government for the Kingdom of Heaven China.

After the reign of Sultan Bantilan, His Majesty throne granted to his son who then called the Sultan Azimuddin @ Alimuddin-II. He ruled from 1763 until 1764 for the first time. After the throne of given by the Sultan Israel ibni Sultan Azimuddin-I, who ruled from 1764 until 1768. In the years 1768 to 1789 Sultan Azimuddin @ Alimuddin-II ascended the throne of the Sultanate of Sulu for second time.

In the reign of Sultan Azimuddin-III ibni Sultan Sharafuddin, The son of Sultan Azimuddin-II named Datu Bantilan (such as the name of his grandfather) was appointed the Raja Muda of Sulu and called as Raja Muda Datu Bantilan.

After the trone of Sultan Azimuddin-III as a Sulu Sultanate for 40 days, he had died as borne outbreak of smallpox that is so contagious at that time. All the Sulu Royal Datus had fled to avoid being infected. And Apparently Raja Muda Datu Bantilan also fled to the territory of North Borneo (Sabah).

After the outbreak subsided, Raja Muda Bantilan back to Sulu to the throne because he is a regent before. Unfortunately, the Sulu throne was occupied by the brother of the Sultan Azimuddin-III which called itself as Sultan Aliuddin. This is the first deviation of the first heir to the family of the systems of the Royal Protocol, or "Tartib Sultanate of Sulu. "
Raja Muda Datu Bantilan trying to reclaim the throne of Sulu that he should belong. Then in 1808, he along with 500 followers who had attacked the palace of Sultan Aliuddin. However, he did not succeed because the Sultan Aliuddin has strong support at that time.
Before the death of Raja Muda Datu Bantilan in 1812, he entrusted his eldest son Datu Adanan or Aranan to take back the throne of the Sultanate of Sulu, which should be owned by the Second Heir. In his efforts to reclaim the throne of Sulu, Datu Aranan has received support from the British in 1814, because he was considered the Sultan by the British at that time. Horn Of Datu Teteng

Thing was the "Horn of Datu Teteng @ Datu Tating. " Have been recorded in history that DatuTeteng @ Datu Tating was a "Hero of Sulu" is feared by the British North Borneo as he who had attacked the British fort on the island Balambangan so devastated in 1775.
Datu Teteng Horn is actually shaped like a white stone (granite) which has been growing on forehead since his childhood. Apparently he is immune from any type of weapon. He died just after asking the wife or the final horn to attract the white stone by bit (this is a popular history among the Maharaja Adinda family).

Datu Teteng is no child or offspring. His mother called Dayang Meria, the daughter of Sultan Badaruddin-I. This means Dayang meria are siblings (same mother-father) to the Sultan Bantilan Muizzuddin ibni Sultan Badaruddin-I and Sultan Azimuddin / Alimuddin-I son of Sultan Badaruddin I was another sibling mother.

Aranan Puyo Riding Throne

But just after the reign of Sultan Pulalun Ibni Sultan Jamalul Kiram-I, which was in 1862, then the throne of the Sultanate of Sulu, given absolutely to Datu Aranan. He then ascended the throne with the title of Maharajah Arinda / Adinda Sultan Mohammad Aranan / Adanan Puyo. "

At the time of placement of the throne by Maharaja Adinda Sultan Mohammad Aranan / Adanan Puyo, the Sulu throne up for grabs between Datu Jamalul A'zam @ Ahlam and Datu Daniel (Member of the Cabinet Council is holding a Royal Sulu Datu Amir Bahar). However, on the power, influence and support by Maharajah Adinda Sultan Mohammad Aranan / Adanan Puyo at that time, finally to the throne was given to Datu Jamalul A'zam @ Ahlam, who ascended the throne of the Sultanate of Sulu to call himself as Sultan Jamalul A'zam @ Ahzam.

Not for some time after the surrender to the Sulu Sultanate throne Sultan Jamalu lA'zam@Ahlam, Sultan Mohammad Aranan Puyo has been moved to Siasi Island and settled there. So far, his tomb can still be seen along with the tomb of-kin relatives and other Maharajah Adinda Royal Family, in a burial ground called the Maharajah Adinda Family Cemetery in Tanjung Siasi. Sultan Mohammad Aranan Puyo has bless some of the sons and daughters of the first wife and his third wife. His Offspring divert and has lived in all areas in Sabah and the Sulu region untill now

The Forfeited rights of the First Heir 

From the facts and the statements above, has to prove that the Sultanate of Sulu fromThe Heirs of the Family Maharajah Adinda indeed exist and have rights in the Sultanate of Sulu as the existing rights to the First Beneficiary Sultanate of Sulu and the right family lineage of Maharajah Adinda cannot be denied by anyone.

With the First Heir forfeited rights either in the Baptism of Sultan Azimuddin/Alimuddin-I @ Don Fernando de Alimuddin in 1750, or whether the parties signed the Agreement Kiram families Kiram-Bates Treaty Agreement in 1899 and Carpenter in 1915, or when after the death of Sultan Jamalul-Kiram-II in 1936, with a declaring by President Manuel L. Quezon in Memorandum 20th September 1937, that he would not recognize any of the successors to the Sultan Jamalul-Kiram-II. (This is the first involving the family heirs and exactly the Family of Second heirs is not involved). We Can say that they have lost the rights to the Sultanate of Sulu, now only be saved or recovered again by the Second Heirs of the Family of Maharajah Adinda only as intended in the Sulu Sultanate Protocol (Tartib of Sulu).
